BoyleSports Poker proudly presents Six Plus Hold'em
Less cards, more fun, bigger pots
A brand new gametype has arrived at BoyleSports Poker: Six Plus Hold'em. It is a variant of Texas Hold'em. However there are a few changes, which make the game way more fun to play and more enjoyable:
Less cards
Six Plus Hold'em uses a reduced card deck. Normally a card deck in Texas Hold'em has 52 cards, but for this variant all cards with the ranks from 2 to 5 have been removed. This leaves 36 cards in the deck. The lowest card is a 6 and the highest is still the Ace. Reducing the amount of cards guarantees more action, more excitement and bigger pots at the tables making your time at BoyleSports Poker more fun!
Improved ranking
With less cards in the deck, it makes it less likely to get a Flush or three of a kind. Therefore the card ranking has slightly changed to reflect the new probabilities. There are 2 differences which you should keep in mind at all times:
- Three of a kind beats a Straight.
- Flush beats a Full House.
The poker hand ranking compared to normal Texas Hold'em:
